Savory Turkey and Mushroom Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups cooked pasta
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, sauté until softened.
  3. Add ground turkey and cook until browned. Stir in mushrooms and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Stir in cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, milk, thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked pasta and turkey mixture. Pour into a greased casserole dish.
  6. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
