Spaghetti with Bolognese Sauce

Spaghetti with Bolognese Sauce is a beloved Italian dish that has captured hearts and stomachs worldwide. This classic comfort food features a rich and flavorful meat-based sauce simmered with aromatic vegetables and herbs, served over a bed of perfectly cooked spaghetti. It's a simple yet satisfying meal that's perfect for a cozy family dinner or a special occasion feast.  

Spaghetti with Bolognese Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 10 oz. box brown rice spaghetti
  • 3 kale leaves, chopped
  • 3 large mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup parsley, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 lb. ground grass-fed beef
  • 10 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cup basil, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups, tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp water

Directions:

  1. Cook your spaghetti in a pot of boiling water.
  2. While your spaghetti is cooking, in a sauté pan, cook some onions with 1 teaspoon of water, a 1/2 teaspoon olive oil, and a pinch of sea salt and pepper.
  3. Once the onions are cooked and soft, add in your ground beef and the rest of the sea salt and pepper and let this cook for approximately 7 minutes until the meat turns from pink to brown.
  4. Add the basil, parsley, kale, and mushrooms to your pan and cook this for 3-5 minutes.
  5. Add in your tomato sauce and finally, stir it all up.
  6. Once the pasta is done, just drain it, place it in a bowl, and add your bolognese mixture on top! Enjoy!
